Join Us! Move San Diego benefits tremendously from the time and energy put forth by our volunteers. We can always use your help whether it’s staffing one of our events, helping out with the coordination of our programs or campaigns, serving on a committee, taking photos, flyers… the list goes on and on.

Volunteers have a critical role in the success of our organization. Most importantly, we like to have fun! Consider lending a hand. No previous knowledge or skills required. There are a wide variety of tasks and projects to suit everyone:

• Big and small
• One-time and continuous
• Technical and artsy
• Field observations and computer work
• Solo and group projects
• Advocacy stuff and research/office tasks

Let us know if you possess any of these skills:

• Writing (press releases, newsletter, blog posts, editing)
• Fundraising (grant writing, business/sponsor outreach)
• Translation (English : Spanish)
• Office Skills (filing, phone calls, writing thank you letters, organizing) ~Website (database updates, website updates- Dreamweaver)
• Photography (field photography, event photography, photo editing/photo shop)
• Audio/Video (documentation of rides/events, creative production, marketing)

Currently we need:

• Interns
• Outreach Team Members (staff our booth at community events and festivals)
• Office volunteers
• Event volunteers (registration, set up, take down)

Move SD offers Internships year round. Internships require 10-15 hours per week for approximately three months. They are unpaid, but you receive lunch once per week and your monthly transit pass will be reimbursed.
